This Saturday, January 21st, Philadelphia Jobs with Justice will be joining the Coalition of Labor Union Women and many other allies at the Women's March On Philadelphia.

We will join our CLUW sisters at 9:45 am on the corner of 19th & Vine Streets on the north side, on the SE corner of the intersection, at the Central Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia.

This march comes at an important time. Over the course of this past election, women have come under the kind of overt attack that we once thought was a thing of the past.

In particular, our rights in the workplace have been questioned. Do we have a right to expect our employer to keep his hands off us?

Do we have the right to expect that our family leave needs will be respected?

Do we have the right to health insurance?

If we have health insurance, do we have a right to have our workplace insurance cover our contraception the way it covers our male coworkers' Viagra?

If we are undocumented, do we have the right to live without the fear that our employer will have us deported for organizing or demanding fair pay?

If you believe the answer is yes, join us Saturday. Let's send a strong message: worker rights are human rights, women's rights are human rights, and women's rights are worker rights.
