Strike Ready: Revolution Ready
Building infrastructure for solidarity, mutual aid, and collective action
When workers go on strike or communities rise in protest and rallies, there is no ready framework for rapid strategic support—no infrastructure for mobilizing communications, legal aid, safety planning, or public messaging. This leaves actions under-resourced and vulnerable to burnout or repression. From permits and sound systems to legal observers and medics, organizing a protest, a rally or strike often relies on ad-hoc efforts and individual resource-pooling. Without a central hub for materials and logistical support, each action is reinventing the wheel, limiting impact and sustainability.
Poor and working-class communities—those most likely to organize—often lack access to the most basic resources during people's actions. There are few mechanisms in place to provide food, water, transportation, and shelter to sustain people during prolonged protests, strikes, or occupations.
We envision a bold new framework that bridges unions and community groups, ensures strategic readiness, and provides real-time mutual aid and infrastructure during moments of action.
